Discover the First National Park…

Explore the Yellowstone Caldera and witness the greatest concentration of geothermal features on the planet. Old Faithful, Yellowstone’s icon, is the most famous geyser in the world due to its “faithful” eruption times (approximately every 90 minutes). Walk the towering six story lobby of the largest log lodge in the world, the Old Faithful Inn, built under the watchful eyes of 29-year-old architect, Robert Reamer over 100 years ago! Take in the view of the Lower Falls of the Yellowstone River from Artist Point, thinking back over 100 years ago when artist, Thomas Moran, painted the very same scene. The 3472-sq-mile park is divided into five distinct regions (clockwise from the north): Mammoth, Roosevelt, Canyon, Lake and Geyser Countries. Come explore the background of the creation of the world’s first national park and the colorful stories of Yellowstone’s earliest visitors.
