Join us for a conversation and interactive workshop with shared insight on how collaboration and public-private partnerships can be a useful, and sometimes essential, tool to drive innovation and progress to help the travel industry operate and thrive in a more sustainable and climate positive world. We are all operating in an ecosystem of different actors, from governments to corporates, to investors and private citizens. How do we secure that our interests are aligned? That we work towards a common objective, and that value creation across borders and industries always benefits the locals while continuing to create needed profit for commercial actors?

For useful tools and frameworks, take a look at the SDGs – The Sustainable Development Goals. They offer good guidance, insight, and metrics that are useful for both governments as well as private actors.

For this workshop we will focus on SDG 17 – Partnerships for the goals.

The Sustainable Development Goals can only be realized with a strong commitment to global partnership and cooperation to ensure no one is left behind in our journey to development. It requires partnerships between governments, the private sector, and civil society.

This session will be presented by Hege Barnes from Innovation Norway.
