Steve will present the latest news on the REAL ID program and how you can help your clients be prepared to have compliant IDs when they travel.
Steve Yonkers currently serves as the Director of Identity and Credentialing, including the REAL ID program, for the Department of Homeland Security’s Office of Policy, Screening Coordination Office (SCO). In this role, he leads the Department’s management of REAL ID compliance and enforcement efforts. Prior to working at SCO, Mr. Yonkers served 10 years with DHS’s US-VISIT program as the Deputy Assistant Director for business policy, privacy, and planning. Mr. Yonkers has also served in grant management and compliance monitoring leadership roles with the U.S. Department of Justice. He holds post-graduate level certificates in Identity Management, Information Privacy, and Acquisition Program Management.
