Hello!
Hope you all had a fantastic weekend. It was gorgeous here, but I had the misfortune of being stuck inside the majority of it due to a midterm schedules for today. I typed 20 pages worth of notes and had my nose stuck in them the entire weekend. (With the exception of Zumba, teaching yoga, and seeing CoCo, that is.)
They say best thing for a busy mind is fresh air!
We had a nice ride, a nice graze, and a nice day.
I didn’t want to leave the stables for the hours of studying ahead of me. Luckily, I had a cute study partner to make the time much more pleasant.
She wasn’t so much a cute study partner as a cute distraction.
I don’t know about you, but I’m horrible about procrastinating. Every little thing seems 200x more interesting than notes. It’s bad…and I have 103 pictures of Chloe sleeping to prove it.
Annyway, enough about studying! Onto better things.
I woke up this morning for a quick breakfast before heading onto campus.
I’ve been in a one-huge-pancake-rather-than-a-few-small-ones breakfast kick.
Truthfully, laziness took over. It takes way too much effort to pour individual cakes. Pouring all the batter in at once is just so much easier! ![]()
Turns out, I like it much better this way. Laziness isn’t always a bad thing!
Lunch
Another favorite…
Steamed sweet potato with a little bit of homemade cinnamon peanut butter and maple syrup.
Delicious! Now, off to the gym for a bit of New Rules of Lifting.
Have a wonderful day!

Craving a sweet potato now – might be dinner when I get home. :)
She is a cutie! My cats also find ways to get me to stop doing whatever I’m doing, just to notice them..
That homemade cinnamon peanut butter and maple syrup sounds delicious
I’m right there with you with all the studying. Midterms have officially crept up on us! My phone is a huge distraction for me when I want to study… I’m always playing with something on there!
I’ve never tried a sweet potato and nut butter. It looks tasty though!
Wikipedia is my biggest distraction. Give me 5-10 seconds to think about something. I put it in wikipedia and 15 minutes I have read everything I want to about it making me an insufferable know it all.
So THAT’s how you know so much!! Mystery solved!
When I was a student, Facebook was huuuuuuge. Now, at work, it’s my own thoughts. I’m the worlds number one daydreamer. Ugh it can waste away an entire afternoon :)
My cats like to sleep on paperwork….while I’m trying to work at it! Buggers! Love that swt potato…
