Our anniversary adventure…
Unfortunately there was one very important hilarious moment of the night that wasn’t caught on film. Michael thought it’d be soooo funny to scare me by jumping out from behind the bushes and run at me, catching me off guard. Only…he ended up faceplanting right in front of me instead as he ran at me with full force, tripped over a root, and crashed hard. All I could do was bust out laughing. And I continued to do so throughout the night…still am!
If only that were caught on video or something so I could really not let him live it down.

Omigosh I LOVE camping! Especially when night time rolls around and the campfires and marshmallows come out :D I hope you had a great time, and it really sounds like you did… what happened to Mike would have cracked me up big time, and I hope you don’t let him live it down for a little while (sorry Mike!)

I used to like camping when I was younger, but I am afraid now I like a hotel room with a bathroom attached! :)
But I do like walks in the woods in the daytime!
Walks in the woods during the day can be so peaceful…but incredibly scary at night!!

I went camping in Yosemite once. We made the mistake of booking a camping spot right next to the camper hookups instead of the walk-in campsite. It was a big mistake. We spent each night of the trip having incredibly rude and obnoxious children running through our camp site, knocking things over and trampling things. Not the quiet back to nature trip we had envisioned.
Well..at least you can say you camped at Yosemite! Not many people can say that. :) And it made for a unique experience to look back on, too.

i used to have a love/hate with camping. i’d go fake-camping with friends. as in…we’d finally be on our own, out of the house…but we’d just sleep in our jeeps at the campsite and go out to eat, haha. so not “real” camping!
That’s right..karma sure got him! And I think the jeep camping idea actually sounds really fun. Like a mini camper and the restaurants are your kitchen! ;)

SO much fun!!! Haha that’s hilarious about Michael faceplanting… that’s what he gets for trying to scare you. ;) It’s been a long time since I’ve been camping, but my family used to do the whole luxury camper thing a while back. I don’t think I could handle a tent haha!
